IOSH Managing Safely is a practical health and safety course for managers and supervisors who need to manage risks in their teams. It gives a clear understanding of how to manage health and safety effectively and of the legal responsibilities of organisations and individuals. Teaching combines presentations, group activities, case studies and discussion.

Managers, supervisors and staff with health and safety responsibilities, from any industry. No previous health and safety knowledge or experience is needed.

Assessment / Examination
Two parts, both of which must be passed: a 45-minute written test of 30 questions (pass mark 36 out of 60), and a practical workplace risk assessment project (pass mark 23 out of 36).
