IOSH Managing Safely Course for Managers and Supervisors

Our IOSH Managing Safely course is a three-day programme that provides management personnel with the practical tools to embed health and safety across their organisation. It develops an in-depth understanding of the legal, moral and social duties of supervisors, managers, directors and business owners, and gives clear guidance on how to manage their workforce in line with current health and safety regulations and best practice.

Memorable and thought-provoking facts and case studies from across the globe help drive the key points home throughout the course. Each module is backed by clear examples and recognisable workplace scenarios, with summaries that reinforce the main learning points. The course is engaging, jargon-free and built around what managers need to know in practice.

The course is delivered through classroom-based lectures and presentations, a multiple-choice theory assessment, and an out-of-classroom assessed project. No prior health and safety experience is required, and the natural progression from this course is the NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.

Certification Upon Completion

On successful completion, delegates receive an IOSH Managing Safely certificate, a globally recognised qualification demonstrating competence in managing health and safety in the workplace.

For short courses a completion certificate is available at the end of the course. You can screenshot this or print it out to confirm completion of the training.

For accredited courses a certificate will be sent directly to you from the appropriate awarding body.
