Delivery Method

NVQ, assessed in your workplace by a qualified assessor, with support given remotely or face to face. There is no classroom attendance.

Course Content

Your assessor looks at single ply work such as preparing the substrate, fixing insulation, laying and welding or bonding sheets, and detailing around upstands, penetrations and edges. Mandatory units on health, safety and welfare and productive working practices complete it.

• Observation on site, or through video and photo evidence
• Evidence from your everyday work, such as RAMS, job logs and site diaries
• Witness statements from supervisors or colleagues

Certification

ProQual Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Waterproof Membrane Roofing Systems (Construction), qualification number 603/0449/2, a nationally recognised qualification on the Regulated Qualifications Framework.
