This is the current Level 3 cladding NVQ for skilled cladding operatives who already carry out complex installations and want their expertise formally recognised. It suits individuals chasing new contracts or better jobs, and employers who want their cladding teams qualified and compliant on site.

What the Level 3 Cladding NVQ covers

Delivery Method

NVQ – a qualified assessor evaluates your work using real examples from your job, remotely or face to face. There are no written tests, exams, college days or classroom sessions.

Course Duration

You can fast-track the qualification or work through it at your own pace.

Course Content

The qualification looks at the full scope of advanced cladding work: planning and preparing resources, fitting rainscreen and sheeting systems (including on curved and complex structures), working safely at height and making sure the finished work meets quality and safety standards.

Assessment

• Professional discussion with your assessor
• Observation on site or through photo and video evidence
• Work-based evidence such as RAMS, job logs and site diaries
• Witness statements from supervisors or colleagues

Certification

ProQual Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Cladding Occupations (Construction) (qualification number 610/7401/9). A CITB Health, Safety and Environment test is included, along with CSCS card application support and a temporary card if you need one.
