CITB Site Safety Plus, UKATA Asbestos and Workplace Safety Training in Derbyshire

P&B Health and Safety Solutions is a Derbyshire-based health and safety training and consultancy firm, delivering scheduled courses at Coney Green Business Centre in Clay Cross and at a Nottingham venue close to junction 26 of the M1. Courses are also delivered at client premises nationally. The business is led by a CMIOSH-qualified practitioner and covers CITB Site Safety Plus, UKATA asbestos awareness, first aid and a range of workplace safety short courses.

CITB Site Safety Plus
P&B run the CITB progression from entry level upwards at Clay Cross: Health and Safety Awareness as the one-day starting point, SSSTS for supervisors and SSSTS Refresher, plus the SMSTS Refresher. The full five-day SMSTS runs at their Nottingham venue.
Half-day workplace safety courses
Several courses run as half days, often paired morning and afternoon on the same date so two subjects can be covered in one visit — UKATA Asbestos Awareness and Safe Use and Inspection of Ladders and Stepladders share dates, as do Abrasive Wheels and Fire Warden.
First aid
The one-day Emergency First Aid at Work runs at Clay Cross and the three-day First Aid at Work at their Nottingham venue. Both certificates run for three years.
On-site and bespoke delivery
Alongside the scheduled dates listed here, P&B deliver at client premises across the UK, including manual handling, risk assessment, face fit testing, sharps awareness, office safety and CDM awareness. Group day rates apply rather than a per-delegate price.

Coney Green Business Centre at Clay Cross sits between Chesterfield and Alfreton in north Derbyshire, within reach of Sheffield, Derby, Mansfield and Nottingham. The Nottingham venue is close to junction 26 of the M1.
