The CITB SMSTS Refresher (SMSTS-R)

This two-day SMSTS Refresher course is delivered in a classroom at Clay Cross, Derbyshire, S45 9JW. It renews an existing CITB SMSTS certificate for a further five years.

Important — Book Before Your Certificate Expires

The refresher can only be taken while your current SMSTS certificate is still valid. Once it has expired you must retake the full five-day SMSTS course, whatever your site experience. There is no grace period, so book well ahead of your expiry date.

Certification

Successful delegates receive a renewed CITB Site Safety Plus certificate, valid for five years.

After completing the course, learners can order their certificate directly from the provider.

Short online courses also help employers to demonstrate that they have fulfilled their legal duties to ensure their personnel have been adequately trained.

Once the courses have been completed, a confirmation of results can be saved or printed as evidence. This can then be kept on record as evidence of suitable training.
