This CITB Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) Refresher course in Blackburn is designed for delegates who hold a current SSSTS certificate that is due to expire. The one-day refresher course updates your knowledge of health, safety, welfare, and environmental legislation relevant to the construction industry, ensuring continued compliance and qualification validity.
The SSSTS Refresher must be completed before your existing SSSTS certificate expires. If your certificate has already lapsed, you will need to retake the full two-day SSSTS course.

Who Is This Course For?
The CITB SSSTS Refresher is for site supervisors, forepersons, and team leaders in the construction industry who currently hold an SSSTS certificate and need to renew it before it expires.
Assessment and Certification
Delegates complete a written assessment at the end of the course. Successful candidates receive a renewed SSSTS certificate, valid for a further five years.
This course is delivered by Morson Nexus, an accredited CITB training provider, at their Blackburn training centre.
For short courses a completion certificate is available at the end of the course. You can screenshot this or print it out to confirm completion of the training.
For accredited courses a certificate will be sent directly to you from the appropriate awarding body.
To join online courses, delegates have to log in via a link provided through a computer or laptop with a camera, screen, microphone and access to the internet.

E-learning and Online (Instructor-led) training is more flexible, efficient, and cost-effective.
Short online courses also help employers to demonstrate that they have fulfilled their legal duties to ensure their personnel have been adequately trained.
Once the courses have been completed, a confirmation of results can be saved or printed as evidence. This can then be kept on record as evidence of suitable training.

You will be provided with a username and password which will enable you to access the e-learning portal. Login to start your course, once you have completed and passed the course, you will be able to download and print your certificate straight away.
