CITB SSSTS Refresher Course for Site Supervisors
The CITB SSSTS Refresher course is designed for site supervisors and junior managers who need to renew their existing SSSTS qualification and maintain compliance with current health and safety standards. This 1-day course provides an essential update on legislation, industry best practices and supervisory responsibilities within the construction sector.
The training focuses on reinforcing knowledge of health and safety law, including CDM Regulations, and highlights recent legislative changes that impact site supervision. Delegates will strengthen their understanding of risk assessments, method statements and effective safety management systems to support safer working environments.
Delivered through classroom-based learning, the course includes presentations, discussions and a multiple-choice assessment. Key topics include accident prevention and reporting, leadership and worker engagement, site safety controls, and the management of hazards such as working at height, manual handling, plant operations and environmental risks.
This refresher course is only suitable for delegates who hold a valid SSSTS certificate within the last five years.
