IPAF Dual 3a & 3b Operator in Coalville, Leicestershire (Classroom)

The IPAF Dual 3a & 3b Operator course certificates you to operate mobile vertical platforms (3a, scissor lifts) and mobile boom platforms (3b) safely and in line with the Work at Height Regulations.

This course is delivered in a classroom and practical training area in Coalville, Leicestershire, with an indoor practical facility so training runs whatever the weather.

What it covers

Relevant legislation and standards, machine categories and their limitations, pre-use inspection and function checks, safe operating techniques, hazard identification including overhead obstructions and ground conditions, emergency lowering and rescue planning.

Assessment

A theory test plus a practical assessment on each machine category. Delegates should be physically fit and bring appropriate PPE. A harness is required for 3b.

Certification

Successful delegates receive an IPAF PAL Card valid for five years, plus a certificate and logbook.

For short courses a completion certificate is available at the end of the course. You can screenshot this or print it out to confirm completion of the training.

For accredited courses a certificate will be sent directly to you from the appropriate awarding body.

All you need to complete our e-learning courses is a computer, tablet or smartphone and an internet connection.
