This NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety course, held over a period of two weeks, is suitable for managers, supervisors, employees and representatives who require a broad understanding of health and safety issues. The NEBOSH National General Certificate is based on UK law. It is made up of two units which must be successfully completed within five years to achieve the NEBOSH qualification.
The cost of this course is inclusive of NEBOSH examination fee's, NEBOSH course materials, refreshments and lunch.

Assessment & Certification
Open book examination (OBE) Unit 1: Management of health and safety Elements 1.1, 1.2 and 3.4 are also assessed by the practical assessment (Unit 2).
The two-step assessment process, which checks what you know and can do, consists of:
- An open book examination
- A practical risk assessment Both assessments are marked by external examiners appointed by NEBOSH.
These examiners are chosen for their experience and expertise to ensure that learners are assessed by the very best from our industry.
Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites to attend this course however it is recommended that you have attended the IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent course, or have some experience in health and safety.
