Course Overview

IOSH Working Safely is a one-day course for employees at any level, in any sector, who need a solid grounding in health and safety. It explains why safety matters, what hazards and risks look like in everyday work, and the part each person plays in keeping themselves and their colleagues safe.

The course was developed by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), the chartered body for health and safety professionals. It uses plain language and real workplace examples, so no previous health and safety knowledge is needed.

Delivery Method

Held at the Champion Training Solutions training centre, Thorverton Road, Marsh Barton, Exeter, EX2 8GN. Groups can also book this course in-house at their own premises.

A short multiple-choice test and a hazard-spotting exercise at the end of the day.

Certification

Successful delegates receive an IOSH Working Safely certificate.
