What is the IOSH Managing Safely Course?

IOSH Managing Safely is a three-day programme that equips managers and supervisors with the skills and knowledge to manage workplace safety through risk assessment, so they can build and maintain a robust safety culture in their organisation. It is the internationally recognised IOSH qualification and needs no prior health and safety training.

Who is IOSH Managing Safely Suitable For?

Line managers, supervisors, team leaders, departmental heads, safety co-ordinators and emerging safety professionals – anyone who carries responsibility for the safety of others in their area.

What's Included in the IOSH Managing Safely Course?

Three days of live, tutor-led online training, course materials, the IOSH assessment and, on success, the IOSH certificate. The same course is also delivered in the classroom and as dedicated training at a client's own premises.

Delivery Method

Live online via Microsoft Teams with a tutor – scheduled sessions, not self-paced e-learning. Delegates need a laptop or PC with webcam and microphone, a stable connection and a quiet space for the duration of the course.

Certification

Successful delegates receive the internationally recognised IOSH Managing Safely certificate, validating their safety management competence. IOSH recommends a refresher every three years.

Once the courses have been completed, a confirmation of results can be saved or printed as evidence. This can then be kept on record as evidence of suitable training.
